Happy New Year HBC cyclists! It's that time of year again...time to make (and hopefully not break) resolutions and plan for the 2014 cycling season. That said, come out and join the Long Island Randoonneurs on Monday night, January 20th (Martin Luther King Day) from 7 - 9 PM in the Cannondale Store at 233 Glen Cove Road, Carle Place, NY.

Dubbed Randonneuring 101, our club riders will be on hand to answer all your questions about this exciting long distance, self-supported, endurance style of cycling: What is a Randonneur? Whats a brevet? Who are the Long Island Randonneurs? What have we got planned for 2014? 2015? What is Paris-Brest-Paris? How can I qualify to ride this epic event?

Join us at our informative two hour Winter Meeting where we will:
Learn about our 200 & 300K events in 2014
Hear how to qualify for Paris-Brest-Paris in 2015
Enjoy a showing of London-Edinburgh-London 2013 The Movie
Meet and network with fellow Long Island cyclists
Enjoy free refreshments!
