The 103 mile B+/A ride posted for tomorrow, 4/18/09, is a GO! The weather looks great. The ride is a structured ride so nobody will get dropped. I want to advise everyone coming on the ride of several things.
1) Eat a good breakfast.
2) Come well rested.
3) Bring snacks and drink. We will stop as needed but on a long ride it is imperative that you continually snack and drink. If you don’t eat and drink often you will really feel it towards the later part of the ride.
4) Get your gear ready the night before.
5) Check your bikes to make sure that they are in good repair.
6) Have someone on standby to call and come get you if you have to withdraw from the ride.
7) Ride starts at 7:00am. Arrive early enough to get yourself prepared.
